To all members of the CG Auxiliary:  

It's that time of year to join the entire Coast Guard Family at Fort
Wadsworth. 

August 4th is celebrated as the foundation of the US Coast Guard. The
initial act authorized a maximum of 10 cutters to protect U.S. interests.
Have we grown since then!

Sector NY invites you to our celebration on August 3rd.  

Coast Guard Day!

Come Celebrate Sector New York's 11th Anniversary at Fort Wadsworth and the
217th Anniversary of the Coast Guard!

August 3rd is this fabulous opportunity to have fun with family and friends,
participate in competitions, and enjoy a great lunch.  

A Bike/Run Relay will kick off the Olympic events for the day at 8:00 AM.
Following that will be a continuous stream of competitive activities ending
with the Water Balloon toss at 2:00 PM.

Children activities will start at 10:00 AM. In addition to the competitions
they can participate in, there will also be a clown act, children's rides,
and a dunk tank (adults can do this too).
