Subj:   District Conference Update -006/06

1.	Our Annual District Conference is rapidly approaching on March
24-26.  If you are planning on attending, please register as soon as
possible.  Once again, you can register by mail with Steve Ackerman at 22
Brookfield Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10308 or on the web at

2.	Registration is required.  Wristbands will be issued and required
for admission to all conference sessions.

3.	This should be a wonderful conference with many new and exciting
sessions covering all of the program areas on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  

4.	Friday evening will feature a cocktail reception and awards program.
At this session all of our Auxiliary Awards will be presented.  A special
highlight will be a performance by the Metropolitan New York USO Troupe.
The program will begin at 7:30 pm, so come and enjoy the fellowship,
entertainment and awards.

5.	Saturday's Luncheon will feature the Sector Commander's Awards
presented by our "Gold side" counterparts.

6.	The Commodore's Banquet Saturday evening will feature an excellent
dinner, a brief address by Admiral Pekoske, and plenty of music, dancing and
fellowship.

7.	Come join us in Mystic!

8.     The purpose of this list is to keep Auxiliarists in the First
Southern abreast of current developments, policies, manuals, etc.
