SUBJ: UPDATE No. 2- Small Boat Course for Local Law
Enforcement(SBCLLE)-041/05


1.	The response to the call for volunteers for the second SBCLLE has
been very respectable.  

2.	The course dates are: June 6 to June 17, M-F.  Some sessions are
0800 - 1400, others are 1400 - 2000.

3.	I wish to clarify some information.

	A.	This is a District Wide event, open to all Instructor's,
Boat Crew, AuxCom Qualified and Coxswains.  You may volunteer for one
session (8 hours) or multiple sessions (they don't need to be sequential). 

	B.	We will attempt to utilize as many people as possible. 

	C.	All volunteers will be vetted through my office.

	D.	We are still in need of Facilities.  These boats need to be
under 26' and greater than 16'.  I prefer open console or walk-a-round.
Engine type is not an issue.  Boats should be available for either the
first, second or both weeks.  Boats (and crews) will be under orders.  All
boats are kept under 24 hour direct observation or behind security fences
with 24 hour observation.

	E.	We need AuxCom Qualified individuals to run our Net Control.
We can also use some handhelds (AUXNET frequencies) for those Crews that
don't have AUXNET capabilities.

3.	The purpose of this list is to keep Auxiliarists in the First
Southern abreast of current developments, policies, manuals, etc.
