1.	New Members

We are able to fund 30 new members for the conference. In this case, new
members must have joined within the last three months, this includes AP
members. They will be reimbursed for one night's lodging, travel and per
diem. New members may request orders directly from Tom Venezio, Vice
Commodore, via e-mail at tvenezi1 at nycap.rr.com The 30 orders will be issued
on a first- come basis.

2.	Hotel Update

Unfortunately, the Mystic Marriott Hotel is already completely booked. The
good news, however, is that we have an additional block of rooms at the
Holiday Inn in New London, just a few miles away. You can call the hotel
directly at 860-442-0631 and ask for the Coast Guard Auxiliary (government
rate) of $80.

3.	The purpose of this list is to keep Auxiliarists in the First
Southern abreast of current developments, policies, manuals, etc.
