1.	We are once again preparing for our District Conference on March
4-6, 2005 at the Mystic Marriott Hotel in Mystic, CT.  The agenda is looking
good and we anticipate another great conference!

2.	With that said, it's time to make your hotel reservations.  You can
make your reservations by calling Marriott Reservations at 1-800-228-2100
(ask for the CG Auxiliary rate of $80) or by going to the Marriott website
at www.marriott.com and using the group code of CGACGAA.  We have 200 rooms
reserved but, I still anticipate that rooms will go quickly so, don't delay.
An overflow hotel will be identified shortly.

3.	With regard to orders, EXCOM, Division Captains, District
Directorate Officers, and District Staff Officers are authorized for two
nights lodging and travel.  Assistant District Staff Officers are authorized
one night's lodging if serving as a conference presenter.  The following
Division Staff Officers are authorized for one night's lodging and travel -
Marine Safety (SO-MS), Member Training (SO-MT), Operations (SO-OP), Public
Education (SO-PE), Personnel Services (SO-PS), Recreational Boating Safety
Visitor Program (SO-PV).  All SO's must attend their respective program
presentations.  

4.	Orders should be requested via the elected "chain" to the RCO's for
DCP's and via the appointed "chain" to the VCO for all staff officers.


5.	The purpose of this list is to keep Auxiliarists in the First
Southern abreast of current developments, policies, manuals, etc.
